North Yorkshire Law firm strengthens property team

Property team shotRichard Davis has been appointed head of the Property Department at North Yorkshire law firm Barber Titleys.

The appointment of Richard Davis, who was a property partner with national lawyers Eversheds, Leeds, before joining the Harrogate-based law firm two years ago, comes at a time when Barber Titleys’ property department is expanding.

Also appointed are Diane Scott, a well-established and experienced Harrogate property conveyancer, who joins the department’s Residential Team and Tom Henry who becomes a solicitor in the Commercial Property Team in a transfer from the Residential Team. His father, Patrick has been a partner with the firm since 1977.

Richard Davis says: “I am delighted to have been appointed to this role at a time when the Property Department is making substantial progress due to the breadth of our service and I look forward to building on this.”
The department, which has eight fee earners, works nationally and encompasses commercial and residential property as well as town planning and development. Its clients include house builders, developers and land owners.
