| Shawnna takes up new Office Manager role at Barber Titleys |

8 December 2008 Shawnna Porter has been appointed to the new post of Office Manager at Harrogate solicitors Barber Titleys as the practice launches a series of modernisations. In the newly-created post, Shawnna Porter, who joins from consulting engineers White Young, Leeds and will be responsible for managing the practice’s offices in North Park Road, Harrogate, as well as overseeing the reception area, archive work and co-ordinating aspects of marketing and administration. Among her first roles will be to co-ordinate and oversee substantial improvements to the four-storey offices including the creation of an in-house training facility and a seminar room. Barber Titleys, which has 40 staff, has both commercial and private client departments and has specialist strengths in town planning, construction, commercial property, corporate work, commercial disputes, family law, family trusts, inheritance planning and charitable trust services.
