Two join Barber Titleys

TWO new trainee solicitors have joined Harrogate lawyers Barber Titleys.

Edward Taylor, 24, of York, has joined the firm’s Property Department where he is working in commercial conveyancing. He has recently graduated from York College of Law with a commendation in the legal practice course and also holds a BA (Hons) in politics from Nottingham University

Matthew Brown, 25, from Harrogate, a former pupil of Harrogate Grammar School, has joined the private client department from Bristol lawyers, Burgess Salmon. He also holds a post graduate diploma with a commendation in the legal practice course from York College of Law and a BSc (Hons) agriculture degree from Newcastle University.

Managing partner and former head of commercial property, Richard Davis, says: “We are delighted to welcome Matthew and Edward whose appointments are part of our policy of recruiting trainees to introduce them to a broad spectrum of commercial work in a town with a robust local economy.”

Barber Titleys’ property department also encompasses town planning and development. The firm’s private client department is among the largest in Yorkshire.
